Salem High School
My mother attended Salem High School between 1956-1960. She told me of her memories of that era and still displayed pride for her school. She spoke of school dances, skipping class for ice cream sodas, and memories of growing up in a golden era of American history. It is an impressive facility considering the size of the town. Below is a picture of the school as it stood in 1963, it hasn't changed much other than the expansion. The picture on the lower left shows where the extension was added.
